I truly think what I love most about my job is that it keeps me connected to people. Rachel is cousins with an old friend of mine and there were many occasions in our childhood where our paths crossed and we spent time together. Now — many years later — we’re able to reconnect as adults, spouses and I’m able to capture her becoming a new mom. Newborns are becoming my favorite sessions to capture and I love photographing in-home sessions because we can include the pets! Rachel and Brandon warned me that their dog is shy and might only cooperate for a few photos but she ended up being the main character and loved being part of the action! I can’t wait to continue watching this little family grow and capture them for their next milestone.
