I’m not a winter girly so part of me always dreads the colder months but we’ve been extremely lucky in here Michigan lately — 50° and sunny in mid-December? I’ll take it! It’s hard to believe that 2023 is coming to an end. Seriously, where does the time go when you get older? As I begin reflecting, I feel so incredibly blessed to have captured so many amazing moments and memories for the best clients ever. I have the greatest job and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2024.

I photographed Kara and Todd’s wedding in 2019 so it’s always exciting and such an honor to reconnect with past clients for another milestone. I traveled to their property in Tecumseh for their maternity session. They have 16 beautiful acres of land in the country and it was so peaceful out there! As mentioned above, it was a sunny day and we explored some of their property together along with their two pups — Hazel and Ember. I’ll be back next month for a newborn session and I’m so excited!
